About

Jeff Benson

President

I’ve spent most of my life working in the financial world, but at the core of it, I’ve always just enjoyed helping people make sense of their money.
After graduating from Vanderbilt University in 1983 with a degree in Business Administration and Economics, I started out as a financial analyst and mortgage broker. Over time, I found my stride in investment advice and financial planning, mainly because I liked sitting down with people, understanding what mattered to them, and helping them build a plan that actually made sense for their life.

In 2005, I decided to take a different path and started Frontier Financial so I could serve clients the way I believed was right, simple, honest, and focused on their long term goals.

More recently, I launched Ranger Asset Management in 2025 to help clients navigate today’s growing need for reliable income in retirement. As a Texas registered insurance agency, we’ve partnered with Megastar Advisors to bring in strong annuity solutions that can help create stability and peace of mind.

These days, I work with individuals and small business owners who want a more personal, straightforward approach to their finances. No fluff, just real conversations and solid planning.

Outside of work, life has been just as full. I spent many years in Nashville raising my two boys, Drew and Jack. In 2021, I married my wife Donya, and we now live in Aledo, Texas. With her three daughters, we’ve built a blended family that keeps life busy in the best way.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me cycling, fishing, reading, or spending time out at our ranch in Ranger, Texas.

Jadyn Stevens

Operations

I’ve been working in financial services since 2014, and today I serve as Vice President of Frontier Financial, a fee-based investment advisory firm. What I enjoy most about this work is helping clients think strategically about their future, setting clear goals, and uncovering opportunities they may not have considered.
I spend a lot of time working with clients who are focused on generating income or taking a more conservative approach to their investments. Through my relationship with Ranger Asset Management, I’m able to help build strategies that prioritize stability and long-term confidence.

Before joining Frontier and Ranger, I managed an outside sales team for an athletic apparel company during its expansion into international markets. I also spent several years as a Vice President at a book publishing firm in Nashville. Those experiences taught me a lot about leadership, communication, and how to guide people through important decisions.

I graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a degree in mass communications and journalism. I hold a Series 65 license, along with a Life and Health Insurance license, and I’ve also earned the Certified Fund Specialist designation.

Outside of work, I’ve had the opportunity to coach high school track and cross-country, and I still enjoy working with runners privately. I’m a long-distance runner myself and stay involved in several civic and fraternal organizations, as well as Grace Chapel Church.

My wife and I live in Franklin, Tennessee with our two young boys, and that’s where I spend most of my time when I’m not working with clients.
